What does the $50 Essential Care plan cover? add
Essential Care is pure hosting and maintenance. We host your site or platform on our secure infrastructure, keep your domain registered and renewed for free, apply security updates, monitor uptime around the clock, take regular backups, and support your staff with their day to day needs in the system. It keeps what you have running safely rather than adding new features.
Does a care plan include new pages or features? add
No. Care plans keep your existing site or platform secure, updated and online. When you want to build new pages, add features or redesign, that is handled through a Development Retainer, so you only pay for building work when you actually need it.
Do I own my website and domain? add
Absolutely. You own your domain and your website. We register, renew and manage the domain for you at no extra cost, we never hold anything hostage, and you can request a full export at any time.
What is included in the monthly fee? add
Managed hosting, a free managed domain, security and software updates, regular backups, 24/7 uptime monitoring and staff support. In short, everything needed to keep your site or platform fast, safe and online.
Can I pay in Kenyan Shillings or by M-Pesa? add
Yes. We invoice in KES and accept M-Pesa, card and bank transfer. We also support international cards through Stripe and Paystack.
Is there a long contract? add
No long lock-in. Our managed plans are month to month, and you can cancel with reasonable notice. We would rather keep you by doing great work.
What if I already have a website? add
We can take over hosting and maintenance of an existing site straight away on a care plan, or redesign it through a retainer. Tell us what you have and we will recommend the best path.
